With the Summer of 2012 (slowly) creeping up on us, we want to know who’s getting ready for what festivals!

We looked at The Green Parent’s Family Festival Guide and thought no one should go without the fesitval must haves!

It’s the 1st May 2012 already! (how time flys when you’re having fun!) and it’s also time for the Beltane Celebrations.

Beltane is the Celtic May Day, beginning at moonrise on 30th April. Traditionally a fire festival (‘Beltane’ is Celtic for sacred fire), it marks the cusp between spring and summer.

But you can’t have a fire festival without the Pintoy Fire Engine on hand!

Spring into action with this bright red fire engine! This emergency vehicle is perfect for reaching those tall towers and top floors with its extendable ladder.
